Horsetail has been used by humans since the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans. The plant has been utilised as a medicinal herb for many health issues as well as to support the health of the hair, nails, and bones.
It has a high silica content, which supports strong nails, hair, and skin. Horsetail is a diuretic, styptic, astringent, and a tonic for the kidneys and tissues.
They may tone the mucous membranes that line the urinary tract and are a potent diuretic for prostate and urinary tract issues.
