We care about customer service, that’s why we have chosen Shippit to deliver your purchase. Shippit will notify you of progress made throughout your delivery so you know when to expect it. You can contact Shippit directly for any questions relating to the whereabouts of your purchase or if you need to update your shipping address or special instructions (eg. you won’t be home to receive your item) once its left our distribution centre.
Delivery In Australia
Delivery charges are calculated at the checkout based on the delivery address and parcel size. Australian and International orders ship from our distribution centre in Bathurst NSW , Australia using the Shippit smart delivery service. Orders received prior to 1pm will be dispatched on the same day provided they are in stock. Other orders will be dispatched next working day. Please take care to ensure your full address is listed to avoid any delays.
Standard Domestic Shipping
All domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post, Fastway, Couriers Please. Once dispatched, we estimate delivery times of:
Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane: 1-3 business days
Adelaide: 2-4 business days
Perth, NT & Tasmania: 5-7 business days
Regional hubs (eg. Wollongong, Gold Coast and Geelong): 2-4 business days
Remote regional areas can take longer for delivery.
Please note during sale/promotional periods processing time can take up to 2 business days. McDowells holds no responsibility for orders placed with Authority to leave, so please ensure your delivery address is safe to do so.
We offer an Express Post next day delivery service at the checkout. Please note Express orders will be shipped on the same day provided the order is received prior to 1pm and the items are in stock. If your item is for an address outside of the Express Post Network, Australia Post will use the fastest possible transport links, but it won’t be covered by the Next Day Guarantee.
PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers
All orders shipped to a PO Box or Parcel Locker will be shipped via Australia Post Standard or Express.
We ship Internationally via eParcel International Express (AusPost) and DHL Ecommerce, McDowells will determine the most reliable and efficient delivery service for you. If your destination is unavailable at checkout please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

eParcel International Express is an Australia Post service, via our shipping agent Shippit you will receive complete tracking of your parcel. Please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org if you encounter any issues.
DHL eCommerce is trackable via the DHL Portal, please note once your parcel arrives at the destination country DHL will hand this over to the Local Postal Service for delivery. You can track this shipment by using your DHL Tracking ID. Place this into the online tracking portal of your local postal service.
International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties, which may be applied by customs at the destination country, and any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient. We strongly suggest selecting a business address that is occupied between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday as your nominated delivery address. McDowells holds no responsibility for orders placed with Authority to leave, so please ensure your delivery address is safe to do so.
We do not accept returns for simply changing your mind after purchase, unless we otherwise specify, such as where you cancel your order before we dispatch the goods, and we send you confirmation of the cancellation via email. Despite the above, nothing in these Terms of Purchase alter any rights you may have under the Australia Consumer Law. Please ensure you retain proof of purchase of products from our site and the goods in question if you are looking at returning your goods. To request a return or a refund, please email email@example.com and ensure you include your order or invoice number which was emailed to you upon processing of your order.
All refund payments will be processed in Australian Dollars and McDowells will not be held liable for any difference in the value of the refund against the initial purchase price in the final currency you used to purchase the products. McDowells will not be liable to refund any fees or charges you incurred from your credit/debit card provider for your initial purchase.
