Our 3.5 year old groodle started having seizures that got him admitted twice, which is quite costly and on discharge he ends up getting topped up with meds that make him groggy and he has behaviour changes. We feel he does not like the meds and we don't either!

Reviews
Austin, the eight year old male neutered Golden Retriever with epilepsy, has been successfully weaned off Potassium Bromide and is on the standard dosage of Epilepsy MIx and Maritime Pine Bark Extract. At your suggestion, I reduced the Potassium Bromide over a two week period. A few days after that, Austin began to display precursors of an epileptic attack (head pain, anxiety, and restlessness). I added Epilepsy Episodic Mix to his regimen. The symptoms disappeared after three or four days without Austin experiencing a seizure (that we know of), and I stopped administering Epilepsy Episodic Mix three days after that. Since then, Austin has been indication-free.
Furthermore, his energy and spirit levels have increased dramatically, now that the Potassium Bromide has been eliminated from his system. He received an excellent checkup from the veterinarian. In fact, the vet was pleased that we have found an alternative treatment for his epilepsy. In retrospect, the only thing I may do differently would be to wean Austin off Potassium Bromide over a three week period, instead of two.
However, this will surely vary from dog to dog. Again, thank you for your products and support. We are very pleased on all accounts.
