This is a specially formulated supplement of herbs that have been traditionally used to support endocrine and digestive imbalances, and may benefit those horses that have had their metabolism compromised as a result of stress, illness, over fed processed food or over use of chemicals.
The tonic will need to be given for a minimum of 3 weeks, and can be maintained long term if necessary.
Improvements are usually observed within 3-6 weeks on the tonic.

60mls twice a day in feed for 12 weeks, then reduce to 40mls twice a day thereafter.

Metabolic s
I found metabolic s to have a profound response on my mare who has always struggled with metabolic disorder. She was much softer through her back while ridden, better in nature and more fluid through her movement, much more trainable and much better on her feet. She was also less sensitised. Over all a lovely result.

I gave this to the 20year old pony I have on loan from my cousins. I am the fourth cousin to have him he is like a family heirloom. He was a fantastic eventer and still competes at riding club level eventing with me. He went lame 8 weeks ago and after being checked by vets, farrier and physio no one could find a definate answer. He is not mentally ready to retire and i can honestly say he has been fantastic since starting this supplement I could not recommend it more so thank you!!!

I really liked the the holistic view of this treatment, looking at the digestive tract and the ability to absorb food with the right digestive balance in the stomach, our horse had badly foundered and vets had suggested euthanasia, but after talking to Catherine we are so thankful we have given this and some of her other products a try, our mare has improved dramatically and is well on the road to recovery.

My pony has being on metabolic-s for 6 months . He is thriving on it he tends to get a cresty neck so he is prone to laminitis. Since Cath recommended his diet change he has grown into a beautiful healthy boy . I recommend this product to anyone who has a horse that can suffer metabolic diseases. Fantastic product

My 20yo Warmblood gelding has been tested for Cushings with negative results twice now, however he has that “metabolic” look to him. We struggle every spring and autumn with the green grass flushes - he gets a very swollen sheath and can become tender footed during this time while grazing the short sweet new growth grass. I keep him yarded overnight to minimise his intake and feed all the correct low starch feeds etc. Then I found Metabolic S and after discussion with Catherine, decided to try it. It’s been about 6wks now and the results are great. We have just gone from dry stressed grass to a green flush again after drought breaking rain, and he seems to be coping very well. His sheath hasn’t shown the usual tell tale swelling and he doesn’t appear to be tender on his toes either. Will be keeping him on this long term.

Love this product
Honky was diagnosed with ems early this year. Determined not to be on medication and keep it natural we contacted Cath. Wasn’t long and off medication and he’s amazing. Bloods have gone from 60 to 29 and kept perfect weight even been allowed out in the paddock all winter and changed for safety once spring can. Really happy.

I am so so so pleased with how this mix has helped my 'prone to fat pads' gelding - he lost 50 kg in the first 6 months on this mix and sometimes looking out at the horses we cannot now tell who is who - when in the past we always knew who he was LOL
