A melanoma is a type of skin cancer. Cancer is the biggest killer of cats when it comes to diseases. The symptoms can be subtle, even hidden. A malignant melanoma can be aggressive and grow quickly, and can spread to other parts of the body.

The occur most commonly on ears and noses, the tumours themselves are black and can occur on the head area. They are often benign but can be malignant. Melanomas can appear small on the outside but internally be invasive.

These cancers are best treated with an internal and external support treatment.
