Wounds Management Program
Product Information
Description
Our wound management program consists of 3 products which work effectively together for wound recovery.
Alleviate 1 Litre, Infect-A-Clear 1 Litre and Equiwound 500ml.
Alleviate
This formulation has evolved from a consideration of the dangers of administering phenylbutazone (Bute) routinely to horses sensitive to its side effects. Traditionally White Willow Bark and Devils Claw were used for pain relief. Guaiacum was traditionally used for Gout and Burdock as a blood cleanser for Rheumatoid processes. Pine Bark, Rosehips, Elecampane for its Allantoin content together with Yarrow in a Vinegar base all support repair. These herbs have been traditionally used to reduce pain from inflammation and support in the healing process. This formulation may be used safely for both emergencies and in the long term for comfort. The tonic will need to be given continuously for a minimum of 3 weeks, and can be maintained long term if necessary. Improvements are usually observed within 3-6 weeks on the tonic.
Infect-A-Clear
Robust immune systems routinely eliminate ineffective and metabolic waste as part of a healthy system. A system that is overloaded with inflammation, infection or metabolic waste has a much harder time recovering. The herbs in this mix have been traditionally used to stimulate the horse’s own natural elimination which may help to clear these naturally occurring metabolites thereby improving the immune system's response. A 12-week course is advised which is a full blood cycle. The tonic will need to be given continuously for a minimum of 3 weeks and can be maintained long term if necessary.
EQUIWOUND Equiwound is a topical horse spray formulated with traditional plant powered natural ingredients that contain some of nature’s most powerful soothing, healing, and antimicrobial properties. Formulated for use in cases of small abrasions, cuts, bruises and infections and other external conditions of horses.

In conjunction with the wound program,I used Colidial Silver and few other powders and creams and bacterial washes.
Well the results are truly astonishing, my horses wound has completely healed over and now in the final stages of skin regeneration. The muscle was untouched in his slide injury, from running around playing
I used the Alleviate and Infect-A-Clear tonics plus the Tendon & Bone supplement in the feed, I sprayed and washed with Colloidal silver, and then wiped off dry scab bits and sprayed with the Wound Recover then smeared sorbalene with bit of betadine mixed in all around edges of wound. This is all done once a day. The healing process was super-fast and I can’t thank Cath enough for her excellent advice, support and products.
