Trigger looked like hell.....skinny, not much mane or tail, chronic diarrhoea and face filthy from where his eye had oozed out for who knows how long. I'll never get another horse as good as him. He was the toughest, most honest, loyal, fastest and safest horse I've ever known.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma Program
Product Information
Description
Our Squamous Cell Carcinoma Program for horses consists of 3 products aimed at targeting the carcinoma from all angles. These herbs target those aspects of the immune system which allowed the carcinoma to develop in the first place. It contains specific formulations, used internally and externally, that support skin health and the body systems in rejecting the carcinoma.
The program is offered at a 15% discount on the individual product prices.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma Internal 200ml

Squamous cell carcinoma is the 2nd most common tumor occurring in horses. Common locations of this cancer include the skin, genital area and stomach but up to 50% of cases may involve the eye. The cause of squamous cell carcinoma, involving the ocular structures in horses, is not entirely known.Â
SCC often appears as a tumor or ulcer on the skin. SCC can be differentiated from less serious conditions by its irritated or bleeding appearance. It is commonly found around the eye or in the eye itself, on the prepuce or penis and around the vulva. When metastasis occurs, local lymph nodes are generally the affected sites.

My 15yr old ASH/QH paint mare had what I suspected was SCC gradually appear in both eyes. Her near side eye, by far being the worst: red, angry looking & then a growth that was increasing in size.
I sent photos off to 3 separate vets. 2 are 40yrs veterans & the other an equine ophthalmologist.
All agreed that given the mares age, breed, colour & location, that yes, even without a biopsy or histo work up, you could pretty safely assume it was SCC.
I’ve been down the surgery road previously with another horse I owned with the same presentation. We took the eye in an attempt to save him. Pathology reported a clear margin on healthy tissue surrounding the excision. We should have been safe.
The recovery from the surgery was long and arduous.
Not 12mths later I had to PTS the horse as the cancers had metastasised, presenting in a swollen mass, in the bone, under the eye we had removed & swollen lymph glands in his jaw & between his front legs.
I have that horse's skull and you can clearly see where the cancer had eaten at his skull.
So I was keen to avoid the surgery route.
I was prepared to treat the mare as a palliative care case; and manage her pain symptoms until we couldn’t, then PTS.
I began the 15 week SCC program without any expectations.
I haven’t missed a single day. Twice daily eye washes, both eyes & the internal herbal support.
We’re 5 weeks in and the results speak for themselves.
The equine eye specialist is speechless.
We’re not out of the woods yet, but I’m hopeful that my mare will at least be more comfortable moving forward with an improved quality of life.
(The pic was taken after 2 years on your herbal program, his weight increased and enjoying life again!)
When I think back to when the veterinary hospital told me he had less than a year to live because the cancer had metastasised, I'm amazed he's still going at all 3 years later. I can only thank you for your herbal mixes.
It makes sense to me that herbivores would respond to herbs as I know they instinctively search out what they need given the chance. Unfortunately we put them in little paddocks and take that ability away from them, so that's where you come in!
So I thank you for the extra time we have been allowed to enjoy with our sweet natured little guy. Not sure how much longer we'll have now but he has had a quality of life that he wouldn't otherwise have had.
Keep up the good work, you make such a difference!
