Tumors on the tongue
April 2021 we took a large tumor off the top of Bentley’s tongue. A couple months later we took a couple little tumors off underneath his tongue. We have lost a quarter of his tongue. Dr. Kelly did a little plastic surgery on his tongue which left him with half a tongue. We had to learn how to eat and drink all over again. We check Bentley’s tongue once every three weeks to four weeks. I was reading on a local Facebook page and I was introduced To McDowell’s. I read the reviews and decided I’ll do anything to save my dog. We took off very small tumors from June through September. We are clear of tumors for the last five months. I have been using this treatment by Dropping this liquid on his food every morning. Bentley is a Labradoodle and a very energetic happy boy.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for Duke's life.
Duke is our 8 year old Weimaraner who was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma more than 2 years ago. At that time, we were told we had 3 to 6 MONTHS with him at the most. Duke has been my best buddy for too long to let someone else decide how much time we had left together.

I did extensive research to find a way to prolong Duke's life, but maintain the quality of his life. The last thing I wanted to do was make him suffer - at all. The tumor was in the back of his mouth and spread across more than half of his upper palate. X-rays also confirmed it was growing back toward his brain. Initial surgery got most of the tumor, but not near all of it. We decided to make the 3 ½ hour drive to NC State University for a consultation and then for 19 treatments of radiation therapy.

During this time, I also found information on McDowells herbal treatments and started speaking with the staff about Duke's condition.

They not only answered my emails, but they called me! I was so surprised to hear someone say 'G'day!' in that wonderful Australian accent. It was apparent McDowell's Herbal Treatment company wanted to do everything possible to help us. We decided the best route for us was radiation and herbal treatments combined. Radiation was hard... for all of us, but mostly for Duke. He endured emergency trips to the local Vet Hospital due to a new feeding tube. He had only a feeding tube for nearly 6 weeks and lost a tremendous amount of weight. He suffered radiation burns in his mouth which still make it kind of hard to drink. Through it all, his tail kept wagging as always. My tell-'tail' sign that he's doing okay despite how things look.

Now, 2 years and 2 months later, Duke is still the same happy, lovable puppy he has always been. Since treatment, we have only used the Maritime Pine Bark and SCC Support program for Duke. The vet is amazed at how well Duke is doing and has told us repeatedly to 'keep doing what we're doing' because his outcome has been amazing. Duke loves getting his 'special sandwich' twice a day, and we never miss a dose!

Duke runs, plays, cuddles, gives hugs and kisses, and torments his sister every chance he gets. He also has had the chance to play with my son who is 2 years and one month old. Now, we have pictures and keepsakes we would have never had if I would have only listened to the veterinarian. They just didn't know then what we know now about these herbal remedies. I truly/ believe we owe Duke's health and life to Robert and his team. They are kind, responsive, they care and they make a difference.

WITH THANKS FROM PEPPIN
We are writing with thanks and gratitude to tell you about how your treatments have saved the life of our beloved little dog, Peppin, a yorkshire-chihuahua mix. Last September, 2007, Peppin was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He was eight years old at that time and had been with us from the age of six weeks, and the news came just three days after the birth of his long-awaited litter of pups. We were devastated. Our vet immediately removed a marble-sized, fast-growing mass from his lower left mandible, along with some of his teeth and bone. Although he "went wide" with the excision, he feared he had failed to get everything and when the lab reports confirmed squamous cell carcinoma with metastasis into the bone marrow, he told us to prepare to lose Peppin in a matter of a month or two.

We were desperate to do something, but after carefully studying the option of radiation and further surgery, a very costly and torturous process involving tube-feeding, hospitalization, and multiple treatments, with a poor prognosis at Peppin's stage of the disease, we decided to help Peppin enjoy what time he had left with us rather than cause him more pain and distress.

We searched the internet for ways to improve his quality of life and perhaps slow the return of the cancer. We found your site and ordered your Maritime Pine and SCC Treatments, but before they arrived from Australia, the tumor returned and rapidly resumed half of its former size. Nevertheless, when the treatments arrived we began to use them. The tumor stopped growing within a week, and we found Peppin to be energetic, happy, and resuming his normal good spirits. Within a month we thought the tumor was smaller. Within two months it was gone and Peppin was back to normal, playing and chewing happily despite his truncated left mandible. Our vet, not a believer in alternative treatments, was shocked. He has examined Peppin repeatedly (including careful exams under anesthesia) and found no sign of the returning cancer. He even called the oncologist to verify the initial diagnosis and ask for any possible explanations, they deem it inexplicable.

Peppin has been with us for almost 9 months since surgery, is still in perfect health, and very active for a little eight year old fellow. He saw his pups grow into fine young dogs, and watches over them with pride. Our whole family is very grateful to you for helping us get Peppin through his battle with cancer. We are keeping him on the herbal treatments, and hope they continue to keep him cancer-free.

RUFFLES SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA CANCER CLEARED UP
'Ruffles' our Cocka Peca Poo was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma at 12years old. Our Vet referred us to UC Davis which is a top vet school here in California. After spending $1700.00 we were told that we could expect between surgery, radiation treatments and chemo to spend at least another $7500.00 and the results would be that her tongue would probably hang out of the side of her month and they could not guarantee life expectancy. In my research, most write ups on this procedure gave a seven (7) month to two (2) year life expectancy. Given the pain she would endure and the possible difficulty she would have eating after the surgery, we decided not to take this option. We looked around for a more natural and less invasive program. That's when we found McDowell's 'Herbal Treatments'.

'Ruffles' was started on the Squamous Cell Carcinoma support and Maritime Pine Bark Extract from 'Herbal Treatments' within 7 days of making contact with the team at Herbal. We gave the drops every day as advised. As the months went by we saw the Cancerous tumors change and reduce in size. When we returned to the Vet in April 2008 he was amazed at 'Ruffles' progress. The little SCC nodules on her nose were gone after one year and her gums are almost normal. She Has no problems eating or chewing on bones and currently weighs a healthy twenty-one (21) pounds.

However, I do feel that without the Squamous Cell Carcinoma support and Maritime Pine Bark Extract the cancer could possibly return. Even though the cancer is cleared up, there are times when I can see that her palet where the tumor is, turns red and I can still see a tiny bump. The redness always fades after a few days and returns to the normal pink color. Ruffle gets alot of love and attention and I think that also helps her to stay well.

As we approach four years we could not be happier with Ruffles and with Herbal Treatments. The staff is helpful and always willing to offer advice and support. We recommend them unconditionally to other dog lovers whose "best friend" has Cancer. Thanks again for all of your help.

KOBE AND SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA
Kobe, our six year old Golden Retriever, was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in October 2006. Our local vet removed a small tumor on his jaw. The Vet told us Kobe would be gone in 1-2 months. To our dismay, the tumor returned within a week. We were referred to McDowell's Herbal Herbal Treatments by a friend in our local community whose golden retriever was receiving herbal therapy for cancer. I emailed the team with Kobe's condition. Within 24 hours the team called me on the phone. I shared Kobe's diagnosis with them. They recommended the specific herbal treatment for Kobe. We started Kobe on the treatment in November 2006. He continued his daily activities of walking 1-2 miles 4 days a week. During the summer months Kobe swam off our boat. He would jump off the back onto a floating raft and then jump in the lake. He would swim to retrieve his "throwable". He did all the activites he had done prior to the cancer. This past summer our daughter purchased a Golden puppy. Tank, the puppy, lived here with us throughout the summer. Kobe accepted this puppy. He ran with him, played with him, and showed him the "ropes" of swimming off the boat. Kobe has shown no ill signs of the herbal treatments or the cancer. Kobe is still alive and well. He turned 8 in November (2008). We are very thankful for this extra time Kobe has been with us. Our vet calls him the "dog that won't die!!" Our vet has recommended other clients of his to McDowell's Herbal Treatments, in Bathhurst, Australia. We recommend McDowell's Herbal Treatments to anyone we meet who loves dogs as much as we do. Again, "Thank you to to all the Herbalists and the team"!!
November 2011 Update - Kobe died suddenly on Tuesday 8th Nov. We had just ordered another shipment of his Herbal drops (from McDowell's Herbal Treatments) and we were looking forward to another Christmas with him. We are broken hearted but still thankfull that we found a Herbal option to treat his Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer. We continue to tell everyone about McDowell's Herbal Treatments Team from Australia.
